BEHIND THE LENS

Born and raised in Richmond, Va, you could always find me snapping photos with my disposable cameras through grade school.  In high school I joined the Yearbook committee just to get out of class and snap photos of the happenings around campus.

 

Although I loved taking photos of people, and myself, by the way I think I invented selfies (just saying), I never thought it to be a passion. So I went to college and now Im in education.

 

Ironically I find myself wanting to capture moments there too with my camera, which is by the way not disposable :) Thats when I realized this is a joy and a passion for me, capturing moments that will last for an eternity!

 

I am self taught, self trained, taking pointers from those educated and more seasoned in the craft.  I take each shoot seriously and expect my clients to have fun with me during their session.  My strength comes from shooting my subjects in beautiul nature and natural light which is the most beautiful backdrop known to man.
